We need volunteers! The Academy initiative would not have gotten anywhere without the support of thousands of volunteers from across the country – people who believe in our vision and who are committed to helping make it happen. Here are some things that you can do to help us build the Academy:

Advocacy: Contact your senators and representatives in Congress. Set up a meeting, host a letter writing party, Sign our online petition.

Media: Write an op-ed, blog, letter, etc. for a local paper or other media outlet

Endorsements: Get a college president, a local nonprofit, a prominent local person, or an entertainment star to endorse the Academy

Spread the Word: Set up and publicize a speaking engagement for the executive director of the Academy at your university or in your community.

Fundraising: Plan a fundraiser or contribute financially. Donate online or send your tax-deductible check to:
