U.S. Public Service Academy Act Introduced in House & Senate

In March 2007, Sen. Hillary Clinton (D-NY) and Sen. Arlen Specter (R-PA) introduced a bill to create the U.S. Public Service Academy. Companion House legislation was introduced by Rep. Jim Moran (D-VA) and Rep. Christopher Shays (R-CT). The Academy bill has earned bipartisan support from senators and representatives from thirty-two states (see map).
