Mark your calendars for July 14—16, 2010: The U.S. Public Service Academy will host a three-day, two-night youth conference in Washington, D.C., to generate enthusiasm and mobilize support for the Academy initiative. We will bring dozens of student supporters to the nation’s capital to learn more about the Public Service Academy, develop citizenship skills, and advocate for our cause.
This will be an intensive, action-oriented conference where students will have the opportunity to:
- Listen to inspiring speakers
- Learn about the legislative process and the techniques of advocacy
- Get hands-on experience talking with members of Congress about the Academy
- Meet other young leaders of the Public Service Academy movement
