It has been a busy week of traveling for Academy Founder and Executive Director Chris Myers Asch. Last Tuesday he spoke at Washington University in St. Louis and met with congressional staffers for Senator McCaskill, Senator Bond, and Representative Clay. He also met with Maxine Clark, president of Build-a-Bear Corporation. On Wednesday he left for New York to speak at a friendraiser, and on Saturday he headed to Boston for an event at City Year’s headquarters. These trips make a huge difference in terms of spreading the word, attracting new volunteers and supporters, and raising funds.
If you’re interested in hosting a friendraiser to support the U.S. Public Service Academy, please let us know at http://uspublicserviceacademy.org/contact/. To see more ways that you can help, visit us at http://uspublicserviceacademy.org/volunteer/.
