Senator Udall is Our New Democratic Lead in the Senate

March 7, 2009 | Contributor: Mark Dlugash

Hi everyone,

As some of you may know, we’ve been looking for a Democratic co-lead to take on the role of Secretary Clinton, who introduced the Bill last Congress. And we got great news today: Sen. Mark Udall, senator from Colorado, will be joining Sen. Arlen Specter to introduce the U.S. Public Service Academy Act in the Senate!

Things are also gearing up on the House side: Representative Jim Moran will introduce the Bill in the 111th Congress within the next few weeks.

All this, along with the beautiful weather D.C. is getting, means it’s turning out to be a very good weekend!
